Mathew John Grace – a nature enthusiast and artist 🎨
Mathew John Grace is a painter with a Master’s degree in Drawing and Painting, driven to refine his skills in realistic painting.
As a nature-inspired artist, he is captivated by the intricate relationships between humans and the environment. Drawing inspiration from William Wordsworth’s poignant phrase, “Nature never did betray the heart that loved her” (from “Tintern Abbey”), Mathew strives to capture the beauty and essence of the natural world through his realistic paintings.
His focus lies in depicting mangrove ecosystems, landscapes, mountains, valleys, and rivers.
Growing up in India, Mathew was deeply inspired by the works of Raja Ravi Varma, whose realistic and detailed paintings sparked his passion for art. He began exploring and soon decided to dedicate himself to becoming a professional artist.
Inspired by the works of Raja Ravi Varma and the Barbizon school of artists, Mathew aims to create art that not only reflects the world around us but also inspires a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
